Cyberliteracy: The interiorization of computer-mediated
text and the effects it has upon perceptions of space and time.
In my 1996 Masters Thesis, I coined the term Cyberliteracy
to describe how computers were reshaping the spatial and temporal
perceptions in people who were fluent and comfortable with computers.
Since then, many people have asked me for copies of the book, and
also to expand on my theories based on the years of subsequent practical
experience I've had in designing GUIs and applications.
I will soon convert the book to PDF format and have it available
here. I will also provide some new material about how my theories
have held up "in the Real World."
